Playing this for a group of sober, intoxicated or otherwise impaired folk will undoubtedly result in howls of laughter. Score 4.5/5
This British effort is probably the funniest film I've seen in years; it also manages to generate suspense. Absolutely not to be missed by horror or humour enthusiasts.
Hands down my favorite film... I laughed every minute of this film and so was the whole audience, I swear, people were crying during this one they were laughing so hard.
It didn’t take a genius to predict Eddie Loves You would walk away with the Audience Favourite Award,..the fact this short captured the buzz is nothing short of astounding...‘Eddie’ ingeniously invokes everything from The Fog to Sesame Street..
Not only was it funny, but it was a great, smart skewering of slasher movie clichés that are often imitated in all seriousness to great failure.
Eddie Loves You brilliantly mixes and mocks many movies in the slasher and stalker genres...Viewers shouldn’t miss an opportunity to check out Darkline Entertainment’s short film. Fans from both sides of the pond will find themselves laughing out loud...score: 5/5
See this highly inventive short film if you get a chance. You will never look at vividly coloured soft toys in quite the same way again!
What is done in this short could teach the Hollywood set a thing or two about how to create a creepy vibe. Playing this for a group of sober, intoxicated, or otherwise impaired
folks will undoubtedly result in howls of laughter. Score: 4.5/5
It’s a wonderful film. I watched it twice in a row.
EDDIE LOVES YOU was a clear winner...it really does have everything. It is a cracking script... Holt’s massively entertaining
film is a sure-fire crowd-pleaser
It was voted Audience Choice by a landslide, the entire Festival was buzzing about the "Elmo" movie. The theater erupted in roars of laughter throughout the screening and the applause was absolutely deafening.
Eddie Loves You is a masterful outing...Karl Holt houses the potential to give us a feature-length production that, gasp, might well be funnier (yes, funnier) than Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead.
